The high-scoring effort was just what Vestavia Hills needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

The win snapped Vestavia Hills' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-9-1 record. As for Leeds, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10-1 record this season.

Vestavia Hills will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Hoover at 7:00 p.m. As for Leeds, they will head out on the road to take on St. Clair County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leeds will be up against St. Clair County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.45 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
