Basketball Game Preview: Westside Seminoles vs. Morgan County Bulldogs

The Westside Seminoles will venture away from home to take on the Morgan County Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Westside comes in on four and Morgan County on five.

On Saturday, everything came up roses for Westside against Southwest as the squad secured a 56-22 victory. The Seminoles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Morgan County didn't have too much trouble with Callaway on Friday as they won 54-39. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 45-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cavaliers cut but never quite recovered from.

Morgan County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.9 points per game. As for Westside, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Westside opened the new year with a less-than-successful 63-54 loss to Morgan County. Can Westside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
