Basketball Recap: Boerne-Champion Comes Up Short

Boerne-Champion lost against Tivy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Boerne-Champion Chargers opened the new year with a less-than-successful 59-49 defeat to the Tivy Antlers. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boerne-Champion's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Tivy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.

Boerne-Champion and Tivy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Boerne-Champion (ranked 348th) will meet Veterans Memorial (ranked 936th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Tivy will challenge Alamo Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 254 places (193 vs. 447).
