Volleyball Recap: Warren Finds Home Court Redemption Against Hendrickson

There's no place like home for Warren, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hendrickson Hawks on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2018.

While Warren won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Kenya West and Leah Erb, who picked up seven kills apiece. They were helped by Katelyn Pineda and Gabby Davila, who contributed 11 assists each.

Warren picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 5-12. As for Hendrickson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Warren didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Clemens on the 29th. As for Hendrickson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Medina Valley on the 29th.
