J.H. Rose had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Brunswick Scorpions on Friday, sneaking past 5-3. Winning may never get old, but the Rampants sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Ethan Simmons was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other pitching news, J.H. Rose got a great performance from Parker Simo as he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Parker Watson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

J.H. Rose's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for North Brunswick, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-17.

As of now, neither J.H. Rose nor the Scorpions have any future games scheduled.
