Volleyball Recap: Floyd Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Floyd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Lake Arthur Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 14th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-17.

Floyd's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Lake Arthur, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Floyd will take on rival Melrose at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lake Arthur is set to challenge their familiar foe Gateway Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
