Soccer Game Preview: Battle Creek vs. Wayne County

The Battle Creek Grizzlies will venture away from home to challenge the Wayne County Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Battle Creek has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Battle Creek is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Forrest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Rockets, falling 5-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Grizzlies couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Wayne County came up short against Culleoka on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Battle Creek, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
