Shelby Chapman gave up the fewest walks she has since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. Nobody could stop her as she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, Chapman and White Station are taking a road trip to challenge Overton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Wolverines thanks in part to Chapman: she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk).
