Basketball Recap: Alta-Aurelia's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Alta-Aurelia hadn't done well against Northwest Webster recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Everything went the Alta-Aurelia Warriors' way against the Northwest Webster Cougars as the Alta-Aurelia Warriors made off with a 70-48 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Alta-Aurelia's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11. As for Northwest Webster, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Alta-Aurelia has already played their next matchup, a 59-51 defeat against Emmetsburg on the 4th. As for Northwest Webster, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-45 loss against West Bend-Mallard on the 4th.
