Volleyball Recap: Conway's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Conway entered their tilt with Georgetown on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bulldogs 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 25-12.

Conway's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elizabeth Mau led the charge by getting five digs and three aces. That's the most aces Mau has posted since back in August.

Mau wasn't the only good servers: Conway was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Conway's record now sits at 15-10. As for Georgetown, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

Conway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Socastee on the 22nd. As for Georgetown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lugoff-Elgin on the 18th.
