Basketball Recap: Middletown North Comes Up Short

Middletown North lost against Wall Township back in February of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Middletown North Lions fell 49-36 to the Wall Township Crimson Knights. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Middletown North's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Wall Township, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Middletown North and Middletown South will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Middletown South's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Wall Township, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 22-20 defeat against Toms River East on the 30th.
