Baseball Recap: Woodstock North Comes Up Short

Woodstock North lost against Central back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunder fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 8-7. The Thunder's loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Parker Halihan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one run.

Woodstock North's record now sits at 9-14. As for Central, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-13.

Coming up, Woodstock North will host Grayslake North at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Thunder are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Huntley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
