Softball Preview: Ida Bluestreaks vs. Madison Trojans        
        
		
            The Ida Bluestreaks are taking a road trip to  take on the Madison Trojans  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Ida will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last.
Having struggled with three  losses in a row, Ida  turned things around against Napoleon  on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pirates  a   12-0 shutout. That looming  12-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bluestreaks yet this  season.
 Alex Haws was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run over six innings pitched. Haws was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. That  run was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Madi McCain was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lilah Derian, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Ida was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Napoleon only posted a  batting average of  .136.
Meanwhile, Madison was able to grind out a solid  win over Sand Creek on Monday, taking the game  10-6. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Trojans.
  Mya Solis was  excellent,  getting on base  in two of her five plate appearances with three  stolen bases and one  run. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 1.1  stolen bases per game.  Zoey Bringman was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Madison's record is now 6-1. As for Ida, the  victory was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4.
