Soccer Recap: Lynden Christian Comes Up Short

Lynden Christian lost against Blaine last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lyncs fell just short of the Borderites by a score of 2-1. Gunnar Parriera was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Lynden Christian's goal came courtesy of Harvest Howell, who's now up to 23 this season.

Lynden Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11-2 record this season. As for Blaine, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.

Lynden Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blaine, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Bush on the 17th.
