Softball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

Union and East Union squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Union had to settle for second. They came up short against the Urchins, falling 7-0. Considering the last time the Yellowjackets couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 21-13. As for East Union, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-3.

Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Union, they will challenge Sebastopol at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Urchins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 11.7 runs per game this season.
