Soccer Recap: Coolidge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Coolidge played against Jackson-Reed on Wednesday and lost via forfeit.

This is the second loss in a row for Coolidge and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 4-2 School Without Walls (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 77.1% over those games). As for Jackson-Reed, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Coolidge will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Washington Latin Public Charter School at 4:00 p.m. on October 16. As for Jackson-Reed, they will head out on the road to square off against School Without Walls at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
