Softball Game Recap: Loyola Academy Ramblers vs. Fenwick Friars

Loyola Academy managed to slip by Fenwick the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Ramblers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-0 to the Friars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Ramblers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Friars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Loyola Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Fenwick, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Coming up, Loyola Academy will take on Whitney Young at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Ramblers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dolphins have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Fenwick, they will face off against Providence Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
