Baseball Recap: Jennings Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Jennings's offense. They lost 10-0 to the North Vermilion Patriots on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jennings saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Whitehead, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Jennings moved to 6-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for North Vermilion, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jennings will face off against Lake Arthur at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Vermilion, they will take on Westgate at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
