Volleyball Game Preview: Desert Edge Scorpions vs. Youngker Roughriders + How To Watch

Desert Edge is 2-8 against Youngker since August of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Scorpions will be playing at home against the Roughriders at 6:00 p.m. Desert Edge will be strutting in after a win while Youngker will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Desert Edge was able to grind out a solid victory over Paradise Valley, taking the game 3-1. The Scorpions haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Youngker came up short against Verrado on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Roughriders in their meetings with the Vipers: they've now lost seven in a row.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-17.

Youngker's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Desert Edge, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.

Desert Edge skirted past Youngker 3-2 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Scorpions repeat their success, or do the Roughriders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
