Volleyball Recap: Bellflower Falls to Peninsula in First Game of Season

Bellflower kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Peninsula Panthers, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-11.

Coming up, Bellflower will be playing in front of their home fans against Cerritos at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peninsula, they will head out to square off against Narbonne at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st.
