Dixon won the last time they faced Oregon and things went their way on Monday too. The Dukes & Duchesses walked away with a 9-6 win over the Hawks. The victory was familiar territory for the Dukes & Duchesses, who have now won six matches in a row.

Dixon got a big performance out of Exadrian Diaz, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave Diaz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gage Helfrich, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Dixon's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Oregon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixon will host Rock Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oregon, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against North Boone at 4:30 p.m. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least ten runs in their last six games.
