Minarets has gone 8-2 against Chowchilla recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tribe at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Meanwhile, Chowchilla entered their match against Yosemite on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tribe came up short against the Badgers, falling 3-0.

Chowchilla was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-22.

Chowchilla's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Minarets, their loss dropped their record down to 11-16-1.
