Soccer Recap: Hancock Takes a Loss

After flying high against Vancleave on Thursday, Hancock came back down to earth. The Hancock Hawks fell 3-1 to the D'Iberville Warriors on Friday. The Hawks were probably out for revenge after losing 3-2 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Their goal came courtesy of Tristan Bly, who's now up to seven this season.

Hancock has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-1 record this season. As for D'Iberville, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-1.

Hancock will challenge Long Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for D'Iberville, they will face off against Gulfport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gulfport's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so D'Iberville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
