Basketball Game Preview: St. Augustine Yellow Jackets vs. Creekside Knights

The St. Augustine Yellow Jackets will take on the Creekside Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, St. Augustine needed a bit of extra time to put away Nease. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 46-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Yellow Jackets have posted since November 29, 2023.

Meanwhile, Creekside waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Bears as they made off with a 57-33 victory.

Creekside pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for St. Augustine, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
