Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Quantico). They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Wakefield Country Day Owls on Monday. Miranda Thompson was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The win made it two in a row for Quantico and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two games. As for Wakefield Country Day, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Quantico will face off against Wakefield School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wakefield Country Day, they are taking a road trip to face off against Randolph-Macon Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakefield Country Day will be up against Randolph-Macon Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.22 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
