Lumberton came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Purvis, but Zoey Robinson wouldn't allow it. The Tornadoes walked away with a 52-41 victory over the Panthers on Monday thanks in part to Robinson, who went 12-for-21 to rack up 24 points along with eight boards and seven blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season.

Loss or not, Lumberton got some senior leadership from Kali Chavis and De'Nashia YOUNG. Chavis posted 23 points and four steals, while YOUNG scored seven points in addition to nine boards and three steals. That was a full 56.1% of the Panthers' points, marking the third time in a row Chavis has had more than a third of the team's points. Player #30 was another key player, putting up five points and four blocks.

Purvis has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Lumberton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
