Volleyball Recap: Ava Teveldal's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Britton-Hecla over Freeman

Britton-Hecla's tournament run continued when they took on Freeman on Saturday. The Braves fell just short of the Flyers by a score of 2-1. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Britton-Hecla's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Teveldal, who had 27 digs and one assist. Teveldal has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennady Van Lith, who had 17 digs.

Britton-Hecla now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Freeman, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.
