Walter Steele turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Wednesday. He struck out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. He is becoming a predictor of Littlestown's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 3-1 (and 3-4-1 when he doesn't).
