Baseball Preview: West Vikings vs. North Stars        
        
		
            West hasn't had much luck against North recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. West will host North  at 4:00  p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
West is headed into Thursday's   contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game  on Tuesday. They lost  18-2 to East Bakersfield.
  Adrian Camacho was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with two  doubles and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, North and South faced off in a cross-town battle  on Tuesday. North came up short against  South, falling  14-3. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 6, 2024, but that streak is no more.
 North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  MICHAEL SMITHEY, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 North dropped their record down to 5-7 with the  loss, which was their third straight  at home. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. West has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.7  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like North struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 3.2  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Everything went West's way against North when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, as West made off with  an  18-10 win. Does  West have another victory up their sleeve, or will North turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
