Volleyball Recap: Lewiston-Altura Finds Home Court Redemption Against Plainview-Elgin-Millville

There's no place like home for Lewiston-Altura, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

While Lewiston-Altura won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 29-27, 25-18.

The victory got Lewiston-Altura back to even at 6-6. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Lewiston-Altura wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Dover-Eyota on the 25th. Plainview-Elgin-Millville has also already played their next matchup (against Medford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
