Basketball Recap: Watertown Takes a Loss

Watertown lost against Brookings back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Watertown Arrows fell to the Brookings Bobcats 40-35. The Arrows have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Brookings, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Watertown will host Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Watertown is facing Lincoln at the right time seeing as Lincoln is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Brookings, they will take on Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Brookings surely won't give up without a fight.
