Seymour is a perfect 8-0 against Sparta since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will host the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Seymour fell just short of Skyline by a score of 8-6.

Meanwhile, Sparta came up short against Hartville on Tuesday and fell 6-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sparta saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brendan Brewer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Seymour has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Sparta, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Seymour beat Sparta 6-1 in their previous meeting on Monday. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
