Billings Central Catholic faced East Helena in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vigilantes. The Rams' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Billings Central Catholic's got stronger as the match went on, holding East Helena to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-10.

Billings Central Catholic can attribute much of their success to Annika Stergar, who had nine digs and two assists. Those nine digs gave Stergar a new career-high.

Billings Central Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive contests.
