Robert Smith Jr Game Report: vs Gonzaga

On Saturday, Robert Smith Jr posted his first game with 10+ total tackles. He made 11 total tackles, but sadly Archbishop Carroll still had to take a 42-7 loss at the hands of Gonzaga. The effort beat out his previous best set last Friday, when he made nine total tackles.

Smith Jr and Archbishop Carroll will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bishop McNamara at 1:00 p.m. on October 4. Smith Jr had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in October of 2024 18-16.
