Brighton came into Friday's game looking for another win against Salem, but Nye Turner wouldn't allow it. The Salem Rocks enjoyed a cozy 65-47 win over the Brighton Bulldogs on Friday thanks to Turner, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 boards. He is becoming a predictor of Salem's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is undefeated (and 2-14 when he doesn't).

Salem's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Brighton, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Looking ahead, Salem will square off against Plymouth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Plymouth has lost six straight at home , while Salem has lost eight on the road. As for Brighton, they will challenge Hartland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
