Softball Recap: Itasca Falls Short of Riesel in the Playoffs

Itasca and Riesel squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Itasca had to settle for second. They lost 14-2 to the Indians. The Wampus Cats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Itasca saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Middleton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Itasca's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Riesel, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4-1.

As of now, neither Itasca nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
