Aurora Christian dropped their record down to 16-14 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chicago Christian Knights. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Aurora Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Robertson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

As for Chicago Christian, they pushed their record up to 21-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.

On Chicago Christian's side, Christian Flutman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up seven Ks. Flutman has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
