Soccer Recap: Rich Township Takes a Loss

Rich Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crete-Monee Warriors. If Rich Township were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to Crete-Monee when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rich Township's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Crete-Monee, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rich Township is set to square off against their familiar foe Beecher at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Crete-Monee will face off against rival Momence at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
