Niskayuna posted their closest victory since April 27, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Shaker Bison 5-4. Surprisingly, this marked the Silver Warriors' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Niskayuna is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Shaker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season.
