Football Game Preview: Ridgeview Panthers vs. North Marion Colts

The Ridgeview Panthers will square off against the North Marion Colts at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither Ridgeview nor North Marion posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers last Tuesday. Ridgeview came out on top against Palatka by a score of 13-6. Given Ridgeview's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Palatka is ranked 322nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Marion walked away with it. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with an 8-7 victory over the Tigers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Colts as it put an end to their ten-game losing streak.

North Marion's victory bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Ridgeview, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
