Volleyball Recap: South Effingham Comes Up Short

South Effingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings.

Morgan Stringer paced South Effingham's offense, picking up nine kills. Stringer got some help from Leah Magana and her 22 assists.

South Effingham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

South Effingham is on the road again on Saturday to play Westminster Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they will be taking part in a tournament against Dacula at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
