Softball Recap: Hockinson Wins Going Away Against Sehome

Hockinson was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. They blew past the Sehome Mariners 18-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

The team relied heavily on Leeann Williams, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Renee Waddle was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Hockinson now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hockinson will venture away from home to challenge Centralia at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sehome, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Bellingham at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
