Hopewell-Loudon waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 32-6 margin over the Woodmore Wildcats. Given the Chieftains' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Wildcats are ranked 280th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hopewell-Loudon's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Woodmore, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

As of now, neither Hopewell-Loudon nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
