Volleyball Recap: Page County Comes Up Short on the Road Against East Rockingham + How To Watch

Page County kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the East Rockingham Eagles, falling 3-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-20.

East Rockingham can attribute much of their success to Alison Hooke, who had six digs and three aces. Hooke has been hot for a while, having also posted 17 or more assists the last 21 times she's played.

East Rockingham has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Page County will challenge Fluvanna County at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for East Rockingham, they will face off against Luray at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
