Volleyball Recap: Millers Creek Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Millers Creek Christian can now relate to. They fell just short of The Fletcher School Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Millers Creek Christian actually scored more points across those five sets (106-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 26-24, 19-25, 25-18, 16-14.

Millers Creek Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for The Fletcher School, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Millers Creek Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Fletcher School, they will head out to square off against Forsyth Home Educators at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
