Softball Recap: Norwood Comes Up Short

If Norwood was riding high fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Deer Park on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians came up short against the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles on Thursday, falling 10-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on April 8th.

Norwood's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwood will venture away from home to face off against Roger Bacon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Mercy McAuley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
