Football Recap: Riverside-Durham Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Riverside-Durham had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 42-6 defeat at the hands of the East Wake Warriors.

East Wake had a senior duo take command as Maurice Maloy threw for 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Khalee Batts rushed for 83 yards and two TDs.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside-Durham will head out to face off against Sanderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Wake, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Rocky Mount at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
