Orono has no trouble against Stearns/Schenck

Recap: Orono Riots vs. Stearns/Schenck

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Orono Riots walked away with it. They strolled past Stearns/Schenck with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 58-40. The win was just business as usual for Orono, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.

Orono got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Brewer out in front who threw for 289 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also punched in a rushing score. Brewer is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was William Francis, who picked up 212 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

Orono's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Stearns/Schenck, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Orono will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Old Orchard Beach at 2:30 p.m. on November 11th. One thing working in Old Orchard Beach's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. Stearns/Schenck does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
