Softball Game Preview: La Salle Falcons vs. Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs

For the second straight game, La Salle will face off against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts. The Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

La Salle is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

For Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts' part, Madison Dean made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Dean is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

La Salle pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games.
