Who's up and who's down

In this week's power rankings, we saw one team go soaring up and another team come crashing down, along with everything in between. A special shoutout goes to Mount Si's senior Cale Millen, who scored seven total touchdowns in the team's most recent match.

Welcome

The power rankings welcomes a newcomer to the scene as Squalicum earned the 24th spot after its strong showing last week. It narrowly escaped with a win as it sidled past Oak Harbor 43 - 40. Squalicum and Oak Harbor were a much more even match than Squalicum's previous opponent, giving the fans a heck of a game.

Can't Touch This

Mount Si got a 49 - 14 win over Newport - Bellevue last week, and a key reason for the win was senior Cale Millen. Millen threw for 382 yards and six touchdowns. That performance landed Millen among the top power-ranked players for the week.

This Week's Big Showdown

One of last week's main attractions was the confrontation between Black Hills and Tumwater, 8th and 10th in the power rankings, respectively. Black Hills snuck past Tumwater with a 22 - 17 victory. The win boosted Black Hills a satisfying 17 spots in the power rankings.
